✦Interpretation
For our round 1 entry, we’ve created and sung a mashup of KiRa-KiRa Sensation! and Kimi no Kokoro wa Kagayaiteru Kai? by μ’s and Aqours respectively. The combination of these two songs is meant to represent the passing of the legacy created by μ’s to the up-and-coming Aqours. KiRa-KiRa Sensation! was performed during μ’s’ final live in the anime (S2E12) and contains their overflowing happiness at having achieved their dream together; Kimi no Kokoro wa Kagayaiteru Kai? is the first single released by Aqours and represents the birth of their own dream. Thus, by putting these two songs together, our entry is meant to represent the everlasting spirit of chasing one’s dreams–even if one dream is achieved, there’s always another one out there, just waiting to be discovered. 夢は夢は終わらない！☆彡
