Happy Birthday to me! I wanted to sing this for awhile since it is one of my favorite songs in Fate. It is sung in a language called La Sola, which draws primarily from Gaelic. The translation of the lyrics in actual La Sola are a unicode mess…so I ended up transcribing by ear as well as looking up how to pronounce Gaelic words and placed them in based on meaning + what I was hearing; so that would be why you might recognize some Gaelic in here! The subs are from the OST lyric booklet, and are the Japanese lyrics of La Sola’s meaning.
ハッピーバースデートゥーミー! この曲はFateの中でも好きな曲なので、前から歌いたかったんです。 この曲は、主にゲール語を元にしたLa Solaという言語で歌われています。実際のラ・ソラ語の歌詞の翻訳はユニコードで混乱しています……なので、結局、耳で聞いて書き写したり、ゲール語の単語の発音を調べたりして、意味と耳で聞いたことに基づいて配置しました。 字幕はOSTの歌詞ブックレットに掲載されているもので、La Solaの意味を日本語の歌詞にしたものです。
