で、去年の目標のひとつが、アートコアの曲を歌うことだったんです。アートコアというジャンルはとても好きなのですが、自分の声には合わないとずっと思っていました。 そこで、私がFallen Mermaidの大ファンであることから、cocoaさんにアートコアの作曲をお願いし、挑戦してみました。そうして出来上がったのがこの曲です。
歌詞は造語で、最初はとても難しくて…歌いやすいように変えようと思っても断りました。 面白い話ですが、実はこの曲を4回ほど誤って1オクターブ高く歌ってしまい、ハーモニーにG7が必要だと気づくまで、歌い続けました。 全てのラインを壊す代わりに、レイヤーで追加し、その後正しいメインを歌った。
So, one of my goals last year was to sing an artcore song. I really like artcore as a genre, but I always felt as if my voice didn’t suit it. I tried anyway, asking cocoaさん to compose an artcore track since I am a huge fan of Fallen Mermaid. And so this was born!
The lyrics are in coined word, and were very difficult to write at first…and I refused to change them to make them easier to sing. Funny story, I actually accidently sang this whole song an octave too high 4 times until I realized that would be I would need to hit some G7’s in the harmonies. Instead of trashing all the lines, we added them in layers, and I sang the right mains after.
